The full method, and the things it cannot tell you, are on the method page. The short version is that research here means using the thing, reading its own documentation, and comparing that against what users report, rather than repeating a press release.
What I will not write
- A ranking that an app can pay to change. There is no sponsored placement on this site.
- A claim that an app is better without saying what it is better for, because almost every comparison resolves to that.
- Anything about an app I have not used, or about a number I cannot verify.
